Death Sentence: The film was so-so. It's basically about a father (played by Kevin Bacon) who takes extreme revenge on the gang members who killed his eldest son. The film was directed by the same guy who did the first Saw film so I was eager to see how he would do in an action-type film. The film had some graphic gun battles (especially towards the end). However, the film dragged on a bit too long. As well, there were some interesting plot elements in the film that I thought could've been explored further. Overall a *-**.

Balls of Fury: You will find this film quite funny if: 1) You are a Christopher Walken fan ; 2) The mere mention or sight of Ping-Pong makes you laugh hysterically; 3) You are a Def Leppard fan; 4) You find gay stereotypes funny. If you don't fit into any of the above categories, then I don't think that you will find the film THAT funny. You may chuckle here and there, but you won't be rolling-out-of-your-seat laughing. I fit into all 4 of the above categories so I was laughing quite a bit! Overall a *-**.

Halloween: This film is basically a remake of John Carpenter's original Halloween. What makes this remake "special" is that it is directed by Rob Zombie. One of the coolest horror movie directors! The film was good. It stayed true to the original but offered a bit more insight into the main character (Michael Myers). The ending was also different than the original film, but I think that it worked in this case. I think the majority of the cast in this film were in Rob Zombie's 2 prior films (House of 1000 Corpses and the Devil's Rejects). In true Rob Zombie fashion, there were some graphic and violent kill scenes (essential to a Rob Zombie horror flick!). Overall a **-***. But as usual, it's a definite 0 for you guys [who do not frequent horror movies].
