I'm getting old...

You know how I know I'm getting old? I'm getting set in my ways! I don't like learning new things, processes...I am tired of meeting new people...

I'm a grumpy ol' woman! That's so exactly it!

*sigh*

but I'm not.

We're smack-dab in the middle of our busy season, and two years in a row, I find my favorite season - fall - is kicking my butt!!!

(It's fall, right? That's how disconnected to LIFE I am right now!)

Anyways, gotta get back to work. I hope everyone out there is doing swell!

Busy Season

So I've been a bit busy with our firm's "busy season." I've been working long hours, driving long distances (or dealing with infuriating traffic) and treasuring Sabbaths - my guilt-free-work-free zone. Friday afternoons after I get off work is the happiest time of my weeks!

But the work is mostly interesting, though a bit stressful. I hate that feeling that I should know something, but its just beyond my grasp! Being new, learning new processes, systems and the culture of the new job is always a little stressful. The people are nice, though, and our clients are usually helpful and easy to work with (knock on wood).

...and in the midst of work, I have been spending as much time as I can with family! It is sooo awesome to be able to see my siblings and their families as often as I have. My little niece is the most adorable thing ever. If you haven't already, check out her pictures on their Marlows-in-California blog.

Anyways, I'm ready to cut back on work, but for now, its Sabbath, and I'm relaxing and enjoying it.
